There are current security measures at Eagle County Regional Airport.
Transportation security administration at Eagle County Regional Airport recommends travelers to arrive at the airpower 1.5 hours before their departure flight, to have enough time to check-in at the ticket counter and pass through the security checkpoint.
All the travelers are required to undergo screening at the checkpoint. They have to remove their shoes, belts, jackets, laptops, and other belongings during the screening process. If you are a TSA Pre applicant, you don't need to remove shoes, laptops, belts, jackets, 3-1-1 liquids during the screening process. If Passengers are required to undergo additional screening for any reason, a ped-down procedure may be necessary, which includes the removal items such as jackets, shoes, belts. TSA officers may use specialized equipment and other medical devices to test for explosives using explosives trace detection technology.
TSA officers may test liquids, aerosols, gels for explosives or concealed prohibited items.
Accessories such as gels, ice packs, freezer packs, may be presented at the screening checkpoint to keep medically necessary items fresh.
Travelers are not required to place liquor in their carry-on during the screening. It may become subject to an additional screening procedure.
Travelers with disabilities may provide the office with the TSA notification card or another medical document to describe their condition.
